Spokane, WA. October 10, 2025 – All standardized allergenic extracts, regardless of manufacturer, must be released by the FDA prior to distribution into the market. Due to the current government shutdown, the FDA has suspended the processing and release of standardized allergenic products. We are in contact with the FDA to further understand the ongoing impact of this shutdown on product availability.

While non-standardized allergenic extracts are not impacted by this shutdown, there is a potential impact to all standardized allergenic extracts. Currently, the only HollisterStier Allergy product affected is 12-dose Mixed Vespid (6786UY), and there is a high risk of 12-dose Wasp (6784UX3) running out of stock. As a substitute, our 5-dose presentations are available. These can be found in our catalog under 5-dose Wasp (6784PG3) and 5-dose Mixed Vespid (6786PK).

1. Monday, October 13, 2025: HollisterStier Allergy’s 10mL Bermuda Grass (0537TJ) standardized allergenic extract is now affected by the government shutdown.
2. Thursday, October 16, 2025: The FDA has communicated they will resume the release of standardized allergenic extracts. We are awaiting official details to determine the release and distribution timeline of HollisterStier Allergy’s affected products.
